Save the Date! 8th Niedersachsen Foreign Trade Conference 2011: Turkey

The 8th Foreign Trade Conference will focus on Turkey and will take place during HANNOVER FAIR (04-08. April 2011) on Tuesday, 5th April at NORD/LB Forum.

 

7th Foreign Trade Conference: South Africa 2010

The 7th Niedersachsen Foreign Trade Conference was focused on South Africa. As in previous years, the conference took place during HANNOVER FAIR (19 - 23 April 2010), on Tuesday, 20 April 2010 at Global Business & Markets, Hall 27.

As an international forum, the event acted as a platform on which South Africa could present itself and its business strengths to an interested audience drawn from the areas of business, science and politics. In a complementary role, the focus was also of course on the Football World Cup 2010 and on the entrepreneurial opportunities the southern part of the African continent has to offer the German business community after this major global event.

1st Niedersachsen Foreign Trade Prize 2010

During the Foreign Trade Conference 2010, the Niedersachsen Foreign Trade Prize was to be awarded for the first time: it was be bestowed upon an SME based in Lower Saxony to honour and publicise outstanding achievements in foreign trade.

The prize was awarded by the Niedersachsen Foreign Trade Conference organisers: the organisers are Niedersachsen Global GmbH, the Lower Saxony Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the NBank, the Employers‘ Association of Lower Saxony and Deutsche Messe AG.

The prize was open to all SMEs that have achieved extraordinary success in the field of foreign trade. The corporate foreign trade activities should also foster employment in Lower Saxony.
